A gallery for an old friend, the ceramic artist and sculptor Miroslav Páral, in the historic town centre of Český Krumlov. The reconstruction of the house created a raw open two-floor space which does not compete with the art objects on display, and at the same time becomes a part of the street thanks to the extensive glazing. The wood of the open roof timbers, the revealed original walls, and the net of iron wires suspending the staircase open an honest dialogue of the old and the new. The wooden staircase is a dominant interior feature, suspended by wires anchored high in the roof timbers. However, all of this is only a modest background for the sculptures and paintings as well as for the process of the artistic work itself.
