Bus Station

We are designing the transport terminal in Český Krumlov as a fully fledged part of the urban fabric that respects the proximity of the historic centre while making use of the site's potential for further development of this part of the town.
The design combines a demanding transport solution with high-quality public space and places emphasis on the safe and clear coordination of bus, car and pedestrian traffic. Thanks to close cooperation with the contracting authority and individual carriers, we were able to optimise operations, reduce the size of the bus station itself and at the same time create the necessary parking capacity.
The project also includes contemporary technologies that increase passenger comfort and support the efficient everyday operation of the terminal.

Traffic Coordination
Great emphasis was placed on the conflict-free coordination of all modes of transport concentrated in the area.
Communication with the contracting authority and individual carriers was an important part of preparing the project. As a result, we were able to reduce the area of the bus station itself while creating the necessary parking capacity.

Architecture, Technology and Comfort
The main benefit of the scheme lies in making use of the site's potential and combining aesthetic ambitions with a demanding structural solution. The transport terminal is equipped with contemporary technologies that increase user comfort and support its everyday operation.
