About the project

Designer fashion, design, a meeting place, and a coworking workshop. All this is offered by the new fashion concept store and creative hub SLÁVA! in the Baroque Hrzán z Harasova Palace on Celetná Street.

The heart of the space is a central meeting and chill-out zone where designers and customers can meet. They can use the bar or a quiet meeting area. Another zone is a showroom with a smart mobile catwalk that can be used for fashion shows and as a pedestal for curated exhibitions of selected models. The rest of the clothing is displayed on a folding system. The space is fully variable, and fashion shows can have a specific layout tailored to unique authorial projects. In the future, the project will also include a coworking workshop focused on textile design.

The architectural design responds to the history and context of the space, using old materials and original walls, which it reveals by scraping down to the very core. This creates a neutral background that highlights the exhibited objects. The rawness of the scraped walls contrasts with the existing soft pastel colors—pastel green and pastel blue of the wooden structures, which are sensitively complemented by pink. The original interior is enhanced by original lighting objects by designer Matěj Coufal.
