Panelárna Reconstruction Shortlisted for the Grand Prix of Architects 2026

The reconstruction of our studio in the Panelárna building has been selected by an international jury as one of the 50 finalists of the 33rd Grand Prix of Architects – National Architecture Award 2026 in the Reconstruction category.

The selection made by the prestigious international jury represents the best of Czech architecture over the past year, and for our studio it confirms that the path of humble renewal of industrial heritage is deeply meaningful. We stripped the former social and administrative centre of the Prefa Holešovice production complex, dating from 1961, of its haphazard later additions and transformed it into an inspiring, light-filled space for creative work and building design. We are delighted that the story of bringing life back to a forgotten corner by the Vltava resonates with the professional community, and that our own architectural harbour has received such significant recognition.
