The area on the left bank of the river Vltava is defined by the lines of the protection barrier from three sides, and the canoeing and kayaking channel and a bike path on the fourth. It houses the information and service centre, protection port and service facilities for all types of moored boats adjacent to the Lída Polesná Water Sports Centre. The simple robust volume of the Port Authority building is complemented by subtle structures of pedestrian bridges and shading elements. A rectangular prism with three sides clad in stone veneer opens to the port by a strikingly articulated façade. The building is embedded into a mound forming the riverbank.
